About Us
Dog Walking Park
As a family of dog lovers with two rescues of our own we are delighted to provide a much needed fully enclosed two-acre grass park for private hire.
Being a former playpark, we have heightened the already existing strong chain link fence to ensure your dogs safety. Chicken wire runs along the ground for those little ones that like to dig.
The entrance lane isn’t suitable for cars but there is plenty of on-street parking available for one car at a time.
Central Bark is located in the village of Minishant, central to surrounding villages and the town of Ayr.
We have designed the park with dogs in mind. For those who may suffer from social anxiety, reactivity or have no recall, a puppy that needs a secure place to practice their training or maybe you just want a safe space for off leash play.
Central Bark allows peace and quiet to roam and run free.
Our park is for the sole use of the person pre-booking their slot online via our booking page.
There will be weekly maintenance of the grass, but you may still use the park if you don’t mind the gardener pottering about.
The entrance through the second self-closing gate is on a steep gradient which may not be suitable for some. The land flattens out once you are up the hill.
We also have neighbours with dogs so please bear this in mind before booking. There is privacy netting both for our neighbours and for yourselves.
Bins are provided for dog waste, but all general waste should be taken away with you. Picnic benches will be placed around the park and we intend to expand our facility soon with a shelter.
Upon booking you will be given an access code for the second entrance gate, which will change weekly. Please ensure you keep your dogs on a lead until you have entered the second gate and it has fully shut behind you.
Please Note
There is 24/7 security camera surveillance upon entering and inside the park, this is to protect yourselves and the park.
